About

Welcome to My Blog!

You’re probably wondering why I chose to call myself Mono Girl. Because of Mono, I have had a lot more spare time on my hands. Might as well share my stories, advice, and experiences with anyone who dares read them. I hope to bring a little smile to your face, maybe even an uncontrollable laugh as I try to figure out this crazy age.

I was raised in a little town, nestled up against the mountains in Utah. I was one of those lucky kids who climbed trees, played with Roly-Polies, made mud pies and even ate dirt. Fortunately, I was never alone in these fun outdoor activities; I had three older brothers, an older sister, and eventually a younger sister.  My brothers taught me to whistle, ride my bike, and to love sports. My older sister was and still acts like my second mother. My little sister got to learn how to make mud pies from me. My parents took our family on many trips. I’ve been to over 35 states in the country and Canada. We got taught to ski, backpack, and fish before we were 12 years old.

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (about my beliefs). I have a deep appreciation for The United States of America. I cry remembering 9/11, watching The Olympics, and listening to patriotic music. Not to mention, my favorite holiday is the 4th of July. I love football games and rodeos. I’m a super huge BYU fan. I’d rather stay at a cabin than go to Disneyland. And I never miss watching the sunset. I hope you enjoy getting to know more about me while reading my posts. Let’s rolllllll!
